Come Join Us for an amazing day at KTPO, Whitefield ! We will gather around at one place an have plenty of fun pre and post race. Run (or Walk), eat great breakfast on an Historic Day of our Country.

Spend 15th August with us !! Great way to spend the holiday having run, working out hard and playing hard ! We are celebrating our 75th Independence Day with a 5k Run in Whitefield, Bangalore. We invite all the runners from Whitefield and rest of Bangalore to participate in this run with us on this day. It would be great opportunity for us to remember this beautiful day of our history together. We would also be offering a free breakfast after the run.

It was mind blowing. The scenery was beautiful and lively all through-out the trek. Camp sites were good. And the best... part was the team. I have been a part of kodachadri trek on 20th oct 2018. It was awesome and the ODL’s (Shilesh, Shashank, Amogh and... Anupam) were so friendly. People who trekked with us made this trip even more special. It was my first trekking experience and they all have made this as a wonderful memory to cherish. While trekking each and everyone helped others by giving their hands which really helped people who struggled a bit and finally everyone made their destination. I went for the Kodachadri trek this weekend with my friends. It was an awesome experience. We had not experienced... anything like it before. It was our very first trek but thanks to all the ODLs ( Shashank, Amogh, Sailesh, Anupam) , who were with us at each and every step of the journey and helped us complete the trek successfully. It is a difficult trek, for a first timer, but at the end the view is totally worth it. Amongst the sea of clouds, the Rays of sunshine make for a spectacular view. The entire day will be filled with adventures. You can experience different types of terrain, farm fields-forest-waterfall-hill , all at once with this single trek. The ODLs are very responsible, they make sure each and everyone completes the trek. Added advantage - They are awesome photographers as well ;) Would highly encourage everyone to go for this trek!read more

Had a great time with the bunch of 63 crazy travelers who kept enthralling me with the amazing journey to Kodachadri... trek (Shimoga, Karnataka) on 29th Sept 2018 weekend.I must admit even after travelling to so many hilly areas at the great heights, I never imagined I would experience my life's best mountain top and the sunset views at Kodachadri peak (1343 m (4406 ft)).Hard to explain the vivid memories of this beautiful nature.I think it was well-planned and rightly timed, atleast I was lucky to feel one.Kudos to Nature Walkers teamI am totally mesmerized with the intense energy and the zeal you brought in, to keep the enthusiasm of the entire group on top.Your well-organized leadership with the tremendous energy is the reason that compelled me to write this one for you.Though I went alone and joined the trek wondering how difficult it would be for me to gel up with different people (not that I am shy) but the icebreakers and the impulse throughout this memorable period made me think otherwise.Thanks a lot to Saurabh Rai, Nikita, Pulla, Shailesh Shekhar, Priyansh and Jagdeesh.Full of love to all the lovely people who were part of this trip.read more

To state that It was an amazing experience would be an understatement . The entire process was smooth like a Butter.... This was the first trek with nature walkers and experience was amazing , fantastic... Had been to kodachadri and the... place was nice and so do the organizers . They were helpful , self motivated persons who motivates others too to complete the trek . 4 group leaders Amruta , Karthik , Dilip , Anurag were damm good , giving us the instructions , helping us to explore the place . Once we were back at the camp with tired faces , there was a bit of entertainment too . We had jammers in our group nd we jammed with music for 4 hours with bon fire on . What else you need to have to forget the pain . Thanks to Kanishk and Naman and all singers.At the end of the trip went out with lots of friends , memories and photographs to cherish . Just got back from a wonderful trek to Nishani Motte. The trek was extremely well organised, led by Pavan, and Naveen.... The food at Akshaya homestay was delicious making our overnight stay there, that much more pleasing. What I liked the most was, there were just the right number of people you need in a trekking group. Any group which needs more than one TT to fit into is a crowd, that's just my personal view though. I hope Nature Walkers will stick to a group size of no more than 12.About the trek itself, it provides some of the sumptuous views you'll see while trekking in the western ghats. The view from the peak especially is unparalleled to any other. You get to see a complete 360 degree unobstructed panoramic view which not many treks can boast of.I recommend this trek to beginners, and nature lovers alike.I definitely would trek with Nature Walkers again in the future.read more

It was my first trek with the Nature Walkers. The Kodachadri Peak Trek is not a cakewalk I gotta agree. :) Regardless,... Looking to spoil your weekend?Hunting for a travel group which can set everything negative and put you down?Want to... rule or command by Goons (Organizers)? Nature Walkers is the answerOne of the most unprofessional, unorganized, chaotic group I have ever seen in my life. I have traveled with many groups like Rack pack, Crazy Yatra in the past but Nature walkers set apart from everyone in the industry. Their so called organizer will make you sign a T&C form and that’s it –He assumes himself as some ruler/king and starts treating their customers as slaves. Their rules and itinerary can change every second and you don’t have any right to question them. If you question them they try to put blame on some other or try making fun out of it.If someone asks me, can you tell me a travel group which I should never opt then NATURE, WALKERS is my answer. Actually, they should change their name to “Holiday Spoilers”.They make you suffer in the entire trip right from boarding their vehicle till you go back home. If you complain about anything you get to hear is you to adjust/you are sensitive.Like seriously, they stuff you in a 13 seater tempo traveler with 13 passengers for a round trip of around 2000Kms. Most of the pushback seats were unoperational, broken and half tilted.As per the itinerary, the boarding was supposed to be at 8:30 but one day before they come up with an excuse and change the timings for which few us ended up taking day off.As per the itinerary, once we reach the entrance we will be taken to base camp on jeeps from where the trek starts. But they make you walk (2kms) from the bottom with all your baggage on you with the tents, sleeping bags. As per the itinerary, packed lunch will be carried for the trek which is of 20kms but they fail their promises and make you starve entire trek without lunch and if you question them, they end up saying – nothing will happen if you won't eat food for one day and we have arranged the lunch which you can at 4:30 PM. The best part is after tiresome trek – people were dying out of hunger but to our surprise, no food was served till 7:00 PM. Even at 7:00 PM, only a few people got to eat the food.One of the best perks you get to travel with them is – the organizers get drunk, abuse you, raise hand on you, push you and threaten you. I believe this is USP of so called Nature walkers.If you want to experience such kind of beautiful experience then Nature walkers ops Mood spoilers are the best. I have many things to add on but I believe Facebook has a character limit.After all the above experience, I just decided to step out of the trip and flew back to my destination for which I paid double the amount of the trip for my flight charges and on top of it a day off because of the change in boarding timings.Before traveling with Nature walkers, I had very good impression on these kind of travel groups. After this disastrous trip I have changed my views and all credit goes to you guys.I wish facebook can add negative ratings on for this groupread more

Joined the Nature walkers for the Kodachadri trek on Nov 3rd. The arrangements were amazing right from the beginning... and the team made sure none of us felt left out. The transport and home stay and food were all taken care of. I was travelling solo and should say it didn't feel like it for a second. It is true when they say there is no such thing as travelling alone, the world is filled with amazing people. The outdoor leaders Amrita and Abhinav did a great job making the different groups into one single team. Overall, the experience with nature walkers was great and Kodachadri is a must visit with something for everyone, including forests, fields, waterfalls and mountains of course. I have surely come back with a lot of good memories. A trek with Nature Walkers is highly recommended. And now I can call myself Nature Walker Swetha. :)read more

Kudremukh trekSeptember 29th - October 1stOutdoor leaders - Hemant, TusharaI may not have been to many treks but... Kudremukh has been the toughest and most fun by far.The timing of the trek was great as we were able to enjoy the monsoons without getting drenched and soggy.Hemant did a great job organising the entire trip - from the bus rides to the homestay and the actual trek itself.He motivated and made sure no one got left behind and everyone reached at least the 95% point even when they thought they couldn't take another step.The descent was equally thrilling and downright scary. You're sure to slip many times and count yourself lucky if you didn't fall (I did once). But therein lies the thrill. It even got a bit spooky after sunset and we had to use our torches to make sure we were going the right way.But the highlight was definitely the bus rides to and fro. Hemant and Tushara made sure everyone shed their shyness and grooved to the blaring beats. The bus was rocking not just from the uneven path outside but also the crazy dance inside. On the whole, everyone warmed up to each other pretty soon and had a lot of fun the entire way.Thanks a lot Nature Walkers for the amazing experience. Hip hip, Hurray!!!read more

This was my first trekking experience. It was not merely a trek but an enjoying travel in bus and a nice family... gathering Home-Stay with 30 members. There is non-stop enjoyment & excitement throughout while you are with Nature Walkers. Playing exciting games in the bus during travel was awesome.Climbing Kudremukh is really adventurous & encouraging. It's a series of hills, climbing up & down with crossing 20+ streams. The stream water is so cool. First time, tasted mountain water. The narrow walking way with nature all around is so refreshing. It is worth noting that about 500 people climbed with us. Trek leaders are well acquainted with the trek. One of them leaded the group and one backed us. You feel safe with them. Reaching the peak was so satisfactory.Home-Stay is like gathering of person for a family function. There is Camp fire at night. My first trek, and I was really lucky to have this experience with "Nature Walkers". Though this was an easy one, it... was important for me to build self-confidence that I can trek. The outdoor leaders, the travel, the homestay, the group, etc., you cannot pick any one of these to be the best part about this trip. Everything together made the trip perfect & now I have “happy” memories to be cherished forever. What I really appreciate about Nature Walkers are 2 things:First, You go as a Trekker, not as a Tourist: Hence, absolutely no litter, wherever we had been. Trekking through the jungle and along... the beaches from Paradise beach to finally Gokarna was an experience I would like to repeat soon. Beautiful and serene as it can get. As I looked at the water fall I had just climbed, only one thought came to my mind. This is proof that I can. I had... never imagined I could climb a mountain, let alone rocks that had water flowing over them, some of them hardly visible. Kodachadri was an enlightening experience for me. It was my first real trek. I fumbled the previous night to buy a rain-coat and pack shoes. After everything was ready and some things obviously forgotten, I set out to catch the bus. Nature walkers made it very easy for me to locate the pick-up points and the founders personally came to escort us to the bus. We had a round of introduction and basic ground rules were discussed. Come morning, and we checked-in to the home-stay. We got to experience local culture in terms of how they live, what they eat, etc. But we didn’t have the time to marvel at the culture since we had to leave immediately for the trek. The team ensured each person was pumped-up and ready to go! We had several head counts separated by time to ensure we haven’t missed anyone. We walked and found our first stream that we had to cross. Everyone took off their shoes and crossed the stream. It now feels funny because there were a hundred such streams and a water-fall that we would climb into with our shoes on. I can’t begin to describe in words the beauty of the place - the forest, the streams, the water-fall and the mist. No pictures and definitely no words could do justice to it. You just have to see it for yourself. We climbed and climbed and reached the place where lunch was arranged for us. Post lunch, was the final 40 minute climb. We were all lethargic but the Nature Walkers Core Team encouraged us, coaxed us and literally helped us get to the peak. My first peak. I have never been with a more encouraging and supportive group. We had newbies as well as professional mountaineers on this trek and there was no one who did not gain anything by this experience. And that, my friend, is why I am writing this detailed review. To all who are reading this, you need to trek with Nature walkers at least once. Lose yourself so you find yourself. Take care!read more

Kudremukh trek was my second trek with NatureWalkers, and just like last time , they were amazing throughout the... journey. Everything was on time and well planned. We had few bumps but they were well taken care of. They take feedback positively and make sure that the trek group takes a lot of good memories with them. We got to explore the pristine form of nature and it was a nice change away from the constant noisy urban life. After my experience with them, I feel so addicted to the idea of trekking with strangers that I want to go every... weekend. I had the most wonderful experience at the Kodachadri trek organized by Nature Walkers.. Kudos to the young, energetic,... tireless and passionate team at Nature Walkers (Amrita, Hemant and Manoj) They are enthusiastic, affectionate and go all out to make the whole experience unforgettable. The Kodachadri trail is full of mesmerizing views and stunning landscape. We passed by beautiful streams.. climbed rocks.. rolled in the mud.. played in the waterfalls... walked over fallen tree trunks...Crawled underneath tree branches..basically we were one with the nature.. wait there is more.. we got some amazing treats for all the hardwork.. we stopped at a small hut situated in the middle of nowhere on the way to the peak that serves the tastiest butter milk in the world!!! And finally when we reached the peak... the feeling is indescribable.. every where we look is like a painting.. In karnataka this happened to... be my second outing and it was worth every penny.The organising team Hemant, Meenakshi and Manoj made us comfortable right from the start.Not at one point there was a feeling that the trip was not planned properly. Though it was a 10 km of rough, natural terrain and when every muscle of the body was in a give up mode, the team motivated us to move on and reach the summit. The best part about nature walkers i observed was that they never rushed us even when at times we were behind schedule. I was searching for a good treking team to join from a long time - as long as the past 8 years - i had enquired with... nearly 30 groups- professional , semi professional groups - but everyone said the same thing--" we are a personalised group- we are close friends for years - U wont fit in here"-But the very first talk i had with Hemanth of naturewalkers convinced me that I could trek with this group for another 20 years- such was the nice rapo these three - Hemanth, Amrita and Manoj build - very essential when almost every trek has some new people joining in - and U r there to make friends - not just drill to the top of a hill.I went for two treks with this group and I have promised myself that i would go at least once a month next year and probably the frequency would increase in the years to come.The co-ordinators conduct the treks so professionally- everything from end to end - starting from the day 0 when u start on the bus with a lot of new friends to make , each one with loads of expectations and expertise in treking- to the actual trek day- lunch, coming back, dinner -- the trek also gets to be so smooth and untiring as the co-ordinators previously would go personally, trek there to familiarise themselves with entire terrain - they know it as they know the lines on their own palms -I realised this in my Kodachadri trek when Amrita was telling each one of us "There is going to be a small climbing here -- after next 10 steps U have to be careful , there is a small crevace -- they know which rock to step on to reach waterfall safely enjoying each step--"- As I heard from their own first hand account -- they havent treked all the places some hundred times -- this kind of expertise - they have picked up in a few visits -- needless to say they are dedicated and enjoy what they are doing-- It is also not very easy to manage some 20 new people who have diverse kind of physique and physical needs when it comes to treks - some might be with great enthu to take part in treks -but might get tired after a certain distance - some might have breathing problems - so on and so forth -- but the co-ordinators have meaningful ways of managing tough situations and keep the treks as joyful as possible for everyone in the group. Personally, i got a few very good friends from the two treks besides the great adventourous experience of climbing Kodachadri and crossing the boulders at hampi-needless to say the bunch of friends include the three co-ordinators .Three cheers to Naturewalkers-- If anybody asks me now -- where to find relaxing time and space during weekends -- i would tell them - @naturewalkers...........read more

I think naturewalkers would give you absolutely brilliant experience with their weekend treks. Our trek coordinator... Amrita Ghosh took an effort to break the ice so that the group could find it easier to trek the following day. The trek was made memorable by the group and the coordinator who constantly motivated us to reach the peak. ( sometimes saying 5 more minutes when it is 30 minutes away �). She also carried a cloth bag to collect plastic wrappers and trash on the way which is quite unique with naturewalkers. What i got from the trek is a wonderful experience and stories from amazing bunch of people who inspire you to work towards your goals.P.S - please don't forget to ask the coordinators about their exploration experience. 5-6th Nov Kodachadri trek.It is a good trek to start with.In the beginning I was quite bored of waiting for their... bus(1.5 hrs late from schedule departure) but later on it was pretty good.We gelled up in short time with each other.In journey instructor @Amrita took her efforts to take the team in comfort zone.Soon we became good friends.She helped a lot during the journey.Lots of chit-chat ,fun and enjoyment.Also enjoyed the jeep journey.I definitely suggest people to take their future trekking.Food could be little improved.Still it is a best trekking so far to me.Got some new friends and came to know their inspiring story and achievements. The Tale of KudremukhaI was in Raliway Staion one fine day, travelling home, When i got a call from my Friend Akshay... infroming me about the trek. I was on board for the plan instantly.20 days later and still no information.I started getting apprehensive. Questions like "Except 1 person I do not know anyone?" "Why Trek in May heat?" and so on.Then Suddenly a Whatsapp group was created and the messages started flooding. Going by the conversations, i had another feeling. Almost everyone knew each other (Even Akshay has a friend among Organisers). Thoughts like "Will I be one among few people without a gang?".Then I decided, Chuck these thoughts and attend the trek.On the Judgement day after Reaching Madivala, we started meeting each other. Here Started one of the most fun 2 days of my Life.Kudremukha is an amazing Place in itself. Poets/Writers more artistic and Intelligent than me have written about it. I'll not bore with details about the place.The Intro session was fun.Thanks to Anant/ Dilipj , the meaning fantasy was changed. But the fun still Remained. The Home Stay, The Rice Balls, The Photo Sessions in between, The Peach Tree, That Cold water from Stream, Sambar Deers and esp the Climb downhill were most fun.But the real Bonding began in evening over Coffee and Onoin Pakoda. Camp Fire was most Fun. The way we Cheated during antakshari, Ridiculous Songs sung by Dilipj and Final Warning By Manoj (Tomorrow I'm going to wake u guys up at 7) which ended camp fire.The next was begining of a very Interesting day With bus ride where we learnt a new game called MAFIA.Reaching Hanumanagundi Falls and having felt ecstatic. And the ride back again Where we Played MAFIA ,then Danced for hours and then Concluded with MAFIA again.Also that funny but Dordbhara Gaana session aimed at Rohit by Myself, Hemant and Shantanu was hilarious.All in all it was an awesome journey with the best gang of Strangers ,I have ever met and in couple of Days I feel like many of them can turn out to be my Friends for life.#Kudremukha #NatureWalkersread more

Right... from boarding the bus from Bengaluru (a unique way of introducing yourself to everyone) till reaching the destination, setting up of tents, refreshing yourself, having a great breakfast, enthusiastically starting for the trek, walking through roads less travelled, visiting ancient temples and ruins, a great coracle ride, an exciting Bouldering experience, a fantastic view of sunset and sunrise, the best way to start a new year, singing, dancing, campfire, lighting lanterns and many more activities packed in just two days. All these would not have made trek that awesome if I have not joined Nature Walkers' amazing team specially Amrita, Meenakshi and Rohit along with other guys who joined the trek as strangers and by the end became life long friends. Have done trekking with other groups as well but I felt this as different in terms of craziness with lots of fun and... got amazing friends, with them the journey for trek becomes so easy. Kodachadri trip was de very first trekking experience of my life. I feel it was always de rite choice of mine to make... it with Natural walkers... More than the destination or just the trekking which any organizer can give, wat I loved the most was the team... I joined these guys for the Kodachadri trek. It is always nice to be around passionate people but these guys are easily... the liveliest bunch i have ever met. The place itself was absolutely beautiful, the forest trail, the waterfall, view from the peak and the sunset, i will never forget all those and certainly not how we all huddled together around the camp fire that night! As a bonus gift, that place has the most beautiful night sky ever! The trip was so amazing, by the time i reached home i felt so positive, happy and recharged. This was my first trek and i joined nature walkers group for gokarna without any company. We started from silkboard at... around 9 PM on friday met the few people and felt pretty comfortable. When everyone boarded Hemant one of the Organizer started with intro session which went really well. Amrita is also a organizer and she made me feel very comfy she made sure as a alone girl i should not feel lonely , she is very caring. Next day we reached got freshen homestay was at gokarna beach .. that was also an experience. We walked through beaches then forest small hills few adventures. Manoj one of the organizer gave as good challenges in between. Vishwas another organizer kept us entertained always , we never felt tired. This was my life time experience ... we danced we trekked we played games ... this trip gave me few wonderful frens with whom i will always like to be in touch. I just love the energy of this group , guys keep up the good work. Your trips are pretty affordable and economical i feel sometime you might be in lose , i dont know how u r managing all this..... If any one plans to travel with thm dont hesitate they are very caring and u r in very safe hands ... and you will def enjoy ....read more

This is Nature walker Abhinav and yes I have earned this title before my name.When I started my journey I was... expecting a good trek and beautiful pictures I would click.But, adding to this, I got to experience something very unique.I know all the feelings cant be put in words, still I will try to iterate through my experience.Cheers! to the organizers. I dont know how they did that but somehow, they knew what is needed and when.May be it happened because of love and care they shared with all the participants during the walk.Hats off to all the participants. You people made me believe there is still humanity left in this world.I really loved seeing people caring about each other and moving forward, facing all challenges together,arranging and having food together.The fun I had in covering the trek and the peace I had during the sunset and sunrise is beyond compare.It is a must have experience, different and truly recommended.read more
