Day 3:  

  • Phakding (8600 ft) to Namche Bazaar (11290 ft) 15 -1 7 km, 5-6 hrs trek

Day 4:

  • Acclimatization at Namche (11290 ft), Short Hiking

Day 5:

  • Namche (11290  ft) to Tengboche (12664 ft) 14- 15km, 5-6 hrs trek

Day 6:

  • Tengboche (12664 ft) to Dingboche (14304 ft) 13-15km, 5-6 hrs trek

Day 7:

  • Acclimatization day at Dingboche (14304 ft) (visit to Chhukung or Nangkartshang Peak)

Day 8:

  • Dingboche  (14304 ft) to Lobuche (16207 ft) 12- 14km, 5-6 hrs trek

Day 9:

  • Lobuche (16207 ft) to Gorakshep (16961 ft) to Everest Base Camp (17598 ft) and come back to Gorakshep. 16-18km 7-8 hrs trek

Day 10:

  • Gorakshep (16961 ft) to Kala Patthar (18520 ft) and descend to Pheriche (16207 ft), 18-20km, 7-8hrs trek

Day 11:

  • Pheriche (16207 ft) to Namche Bazaar (11290  ft), 18-20km, 6-7hrs trek

Day 12:

  • Namche Bazaar (11290  ft) to Lukla (9300 ft) 18-20km, 6-7 hrs trek

Day 13:

  • Fly from Lukla (9300 ft) to Kathmandu : 35 min

Detail Itinerary

Day 1: Reaching Kathmandu, Stay at Katmandu

You would definitely enjoy your flight to Kathmandu, at an altitude of 1200 to 2300m, with an overview of all the scenic beauty that Nepal has to offer. On your fascinating flight, you can have a terrific view of mountain ranges, waterfalls, and rivers. Once you land on the Tribhuvan International airport, you can check into your hotel, if already booked, or you can choose from the available options.  Rest of the day, you will explore this captivating city, which is full of lively markets, stupas, bustling lanes, and explore golden temples, monkey temple and magnificent pagodas. ‘Monkey Temple’, ‘Garden of Dreams’ and, ‘Boudhanath Stupa’ are some of the prominent tourist attractions.

Day 2: Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (9300 ft): 35mins, then walk to Phakding (8600 ft) 10-12km, 3-4 hrs trek

On a subsequent day, you will start your trek with a stunning flight to Lukla. After this wonderful flight, you will start your trek to Phakding, which is around 8 km and takes 3-4 hours to hike. Here you will walk alongside the Dudh Kashi river and can have a beautiful view on Kusum-Kanguru top which is at the height of 6,367m. It’s not a difficult trek, but you will need to be careful when the trail gets a little steep.   After a short trek, you would reach Phakding, which is at the altitude of 2,610m. Here tour guide will give you a brief orientation and safety tips about the trek. Once you reach Phakding, you can stay at a tea house (small bed-and-breakfast-like hotels).

Day 3: Phakding (8600 ft) to Namche Bazaar (11290 ft) 15 -1 7 km, 5-6 hrs trek

The trek starts after the morning breakfast with a trek of 10-12 km ascending via delightful thick forests of pine and excellent rhododendrons near the Dudh Kashi river. The trek will lead to Namche, which is at an altitude of 3440m. You will trek into Sagarmatha Park. After the lunch, the difficulty level of the trek increases hereafter. You will start enjoying some high-rise mountains like the peaks of snow-topped Kusum Kanguru (6,369m) and Thamserku (6,623m). You will cross the Dudh Kashi suspension bridge while on your way to Namche Bazaar. After arriving at Namche, you will rest for the night at the tea house.

Day 4: Acclimatization at Namche (11290 ft), Short Hiking

The next day is the rest day in Namche where you can enjoy the first glimpse of Mt. Everest. You will get an opportunity to rest your body while enjoying Sunset and Sunrise. You can even prefer a small relaxed hike or walk to Syangboche Airstrip or Bhote Khola River Valley towards Thami (3810m). Try visiting the Sherpa museum as well as buy something which you have forgotten as this will be the last big market during the trek. Check your gears and equipment and get ready for the ultimate experience. You will continue staying at the same guest house.

Day 5: Namche (11290  ft) to Tengboche (12664 ft) 14- 15km, 5-6 hrs trek

On the 5th day, the trek to Tengboche starts, which is at the height of 3,860m. You need to walk around 10-11 km and will take approximately 5-6 hours. Enjoy the impressive view of mountains, suspension bridges, rhododendrons, and woods. You can attend a prayer ceremony held by the monks to invoke protection on your expedition in the biggest monastery of the area. At night, stay at the tea house.

Day 6: Tengboche (12664 ft) to Dingboche (14304 ft) 13-15km, 5-6 hrs trek

On the 6th day, you'll proceed through alpine meadows of clean juniper to trek Dingboche which is located at the height of 4,410m. You will have the opportunity to explore villages on the way which is around 11-12 km. Here you will get an incredible opportunity to observe how the nearby local community lives during the journey of 5-6 hours. After reaching Dingboche, stay at the tea house.

Day 7: Acclimatization day at Dingboche (14304 ft) (visit to Chhukung or Nangkartshang Peak)

The 7th day is another rest day. The path is steep and rough at points. You can go for an acclimatization walk to Amadablam base camp or Nagarjun Hill or Chukkhung. Enjoy a relaxing and fun day within the team where you can share experiences from the past treks.

Day 8: Dingboche  (14304 ft) to Lobuche (16207 ft) 12- 14km, 5-6 hrs trek

On the 8th day, you will move towards Lobuche, which is at the height of 4,910m. While trekking, you can enjoy terrain changes from lush woods to sparsely dotted shrubs with snowy peaks all along the way. You can also enjoy memorials to some of the most famous climbers in the world at Thukla-Dukla Pass. At the Moraine, there are marble statues of six Sherpas who died in a landslide. You may feel troublesome while moving towards Gorak Shep. Appreciate lovely sunset and stay at the tea house.

Day 9: Lobuche (16207 ft) to Gorakshep (16961 ft) to Everest Base Camp (17598 ft) and come back to Gorakshep. 16-18km 7-8 hrs trek

At last, this will be the day of the entire journey as you will climb to Everest Base Camp, which is at an altitude of 5,364m. As you proceed with the trekking of 14-15 km, the Khumbu Glacier, as well as Icefall, will come on your way. This trek would last tentatively for 8-9 hours. The Gorak Shep, which is at a height of 5,180m, will be the spot for resting. Have a tasty dinner and relax at the tea house.

Day 10: Enjoying the panoramic view of The Great Everest and other 8 thousanders

On the 10th day, you will climb at the highest destination of your journey, Kala Pattar, which is at the height of 5,545m. Enjoy the sunrise and panoramic views of the entire Mount Everest during your trip of 13-14 km. You will get the best pictures of Kala Pattar after walking for 7-8 hours. Trek back to Pheriche village, at the height of 4,210m through Gorak Shep, for a duration of 7-8 hours. After an intense day and long walk, the group’s enthusiasm would determine the place of rest.

Day 11: Pheriche (16207 ft) to Namche Bazaar (11290  ft), 18-20km, 6-7hrs trek

On the 11th day, trek back to Namche from Pheriche. This will be around 14-15 km, with a total of 8 hours of walking. You will have down slopes and adventure of a suspension bridge. Here you will meet different trekkers moving the opposite way.

Day 12: Namche Bazaar (11290  ft) to Lukla (9300 ft) 18-20km, 6-7 hrs trek

The journey forward will stop here. You will travel back from Namche to Lukla, and it will be your final day where you need to walk. Once more, you will have suspension bridges. A similar path will be followed, which was taken while going, which is around 18-19 km. After around 5 to 6 hours of final trekking, you will reach Lukla.

Day 13: Saying goodbye to Sagarmatha

With the final days approaching, you will return to Kathmandu airport from Lukla. Say the last bye to Himalayan peaks while enjoying the final moments. After landing in Kathmandu, you can enjoy the remainder of the day in your hotel or visit the close local market. Do not forget to buy the local goodies from the market that will revive your Nepal memories forever.

We develop our itinerary without compromising anything regards to Safety. We are aware that you would have concern regarding travelling this post covid lockdown but we take several measures to make the trip safe for you. We strongly recommend all the travellers in the trip to gain a Covid-19 Test certification. Apart from that we also sanitize the vehicle and homestay/campsite thoroughly before using it. We have made the use of face mask mandatory at public places and travel destination. Although its difficult to trek with face mask on, we strongly monitor the protocol of social distancing.   • Please carry Xerox copy of Pan Card or Aadhar Card, as its same is required to permission from the Forest Department. 
  • Non – Indian nationals will have to pay additional cost of Rs. 1300/- toward forest permission. 
  • We strictly DO NOT ALLOW consumption of Alcohol, Beer, smoking or intoxicants on out trek. We request you to please co-operate with us to the make the experience more enjoyable. 
  • Requesting our participant to DO NOT EXPECT any kind of luxury on the trek. We host our treks in remote location and do our best to arrange the basic necessary facilities for our participant. The objective is to experience the local outdoor. 
  • We provide hot vegetarian food on our treks. If in case we can arrange Non-Veg, we would inform you on the trek. 
  • DO NOT wear tight pants; tight pants are not comfortable for treks as the leg motion is restricted. 
  • DO NOT carry valuable ornaments; it can cause unnecessary trouble if misplaced. (Nature Walkers do not take any responsibility of your ornaments). 
  • DO NOT wear black or dark cloths and perfume on the trek (as some insects get attracted to dark color and perfumes) 
  • Please put the little at its place, we request to not trash the trek or the accommodation facility. 
  • If in case of traffic delay, we request our participants to expect little delay in reaching the destination. 
  • 8 to 20 Members 
  • We get equal boys to girls ratio for most of our treks/trips 
  • We require a minimum of 8 participant to confirm the event 
  • If in case, we fail to obtain the required minimum number of participants. We would initiate full refund or transfer to another event for the same departure date. (Option of transfer shall be subject to payment/refund of balance amount if any) 

FAQs

Nature Walkers shall follow all the basic Covid Guidelines like Face Mask, Hand Sanitizer, Vehicle and Homestay Sanitization with Temperature Check. It is mandatory to carry Covid Vaccination Certificate if you have been vaccinated with both the doses on Trek. If you have Vaccinated only with one dose or have not got vaccinated,  then you would need RTPCR Negative Test Report to join this Trek. As It might be inconvience if the state government rule changes after your do your registration or after you begin your travel and it would be difficult to find covid test centers nearby to your travel destinations.
