Description:
Region :- Uttarakhand
Duration :- 6 Days
Grade :– Moderate
Max Altitude :- (3878 m).
Approx Trekking Km :- 56 Kms.
Vijay Top lies at an elevation of 3878 metres in the famous Govind Wildlife Sanctuary of Uttarkashi district. It is not known much by people but this trek has all the qualities which Kedarkantha Trek possesses. But the only difference is, the trails are untouched and not traversed by many, if you want to be away from the cacophony of cities and other groups of trekkers on the trek routes, then this winter choose “Vijay Top”.
The real beauty of the magnificent mountains is revealed here, it remains engulfed by the snowfall in winters. A thick snow sheet covers this mighty peak making it pristine and in summers the scenery changes from white to all green which resembles the wonderland not traversed by many. This trek is hidden beauty among the Himalayan Mountains not known by the trekkers and can be called a true gem.
It starts from the village “Bhitri” which is the last on trail and you go through many Himalayan villages located uphill and the people with their smiling faces seems to be the happiest. The houses made of wood, well designed temples and food cultivation amidst the crude nature will ignite a craving to know them in close proximity.
