My take away from my treks and trips is the moments I share with happy and healthy people. It is an honor to meet and bond with amazing people and exceed their expectations.

About me

It was my third trek of Western Ghats when I realized to nourish this hobby into a passion. It took me 7 years of IT life and 1 year of hard work in understanding the industry and idea proofing to start my own adventure company. Meanwhile, I completed my mountaineering from IHCAE, Sikkim and personally lead about 70 treks in western ghats and Himalayas with Nature Walkers.

Had a great time. Shout out to Nature Walkers, Sharan, Lavanya, Hemanth. The reason i would rate Nature Walkers way above other competitors : 1. Amazing trek leads. 2. Top notch management. Special mention: Members of the company were at each pickup point to make sure everybody got in, brief introductions, issued clarifications if any, etc. 3. People crave for luxury in such trips and then complain when it doesn’t meet expectations. Nature walkers made sure experience was raw, authentic. For instance, accomodation in tents, walking instead of using buses, autos for short distances, shared washrooms and changing rooms. If you are looking for everything to go as planned, everything to be served in a plate, better plan it yourself instead of cribbing later. 4. The way a company reacts when things don’t go as expected , tells a lot about them. 👍🏻 5. Was lucky to have an amazing group of around 20 people. We not only knew each other’s names , but were one big family by the end of the trip. Shout out once again to the trek leads who made that possible. Couple of things(trivial) can definitely be improved, but i am pretty sure they’ll put in efforts to resolve those. Would love to join you guys again. Keep up the great work. 😀🙌🏻

    June 22nd, Tadiandamol Trek

After a gap of 3 years, I booked my second trek with Nature Walkers. This time it was more special as my old and dearo buddy @Shami choukinishi was to accompany me! 🤗

After a lot of discussion over availability, me and her landed on June 22nd weekend and booked the tickets 2 weeks prior to trek date.

We were so excited over this trek since we were meeting after a long time. However, Nature played its own card as there were reports of heavy rainfall and landslides in Coorg-Madikeri region during the week of trek! 😭

All our excitement was sunk when we anticipated cancellation of this trek. But then, I was taken by surprise when Nature Walkers tried its best to make this trek possible! Thanks to Hemant Khandagale and group for making it happen! Yayyyy! NW did remember me even after 3 years! 😇

Finally when I arrived at the venue, I was bit hesitant looking at the head count of 10 as compared to 35+ as that of last time.
Also the ODLs (Outdoor Leaders) were new to me. Anyhow, as the journey from Bengaluru took its pace, my uncertainty with the crowd and new ODLs began to disappear.. 😄 That one plus hour of intro + converstaion with the folks in TT was so much fun and retrospective! 🤩

Eventually, the trek was wonderfully tiring! It was as amazing as hoped for. Great homestay, good food, warm and jolly folks.
Last but not least amazing, supportive, responsible and full of life ODLs! Kartik Lalan and Lingaraj’U’ 😆, U guys nailed it!! 🙌👍
I had so much fun playing Antakshari around warm camp fire in a chilling monsoon night. Perhaps the longest and best Antakshari of my life.. 🥳

Thank U Nature Walkers. You were as congenial and responsible towards trek members and Nature as ever but also grown better.. 😊😇

This was my 6th trek and the first with Nature Walkers. What made this trek special to me wasn’t the well planned itenary, or the light and yummy food at the homestay, or the scenic beauty of Kudremukh. These things were perfect and flawless so sure need to acknowledge these as well.
What made it special is the attention which Hemant and Shailesh gave to each and every detail and to each and every trekker.
Every moment of the trip is something to remember, weather it was the initial intro during our journey to the base, or our ride back home where we danced all the way.
I came solo but I went back with many friends and an experience to remember.
These guys work with all their heart and ensure that you go back all smiling and leave you with a hangover of smile. I could write an essay on things that were comepletely unique but will hold my horses for now.
God bless you guys ! Thank you for this beautiful experience.

Thank you Nature Walkers for an amazing and memorable trek to Nishani Motte. The team leaders Hemant, Saurabh and Muzammil were so enthusiastic that it spread to all of us too. I felt like I was reliving my college days thanks to the group of fun loving youngsters. We as a team managed to reach the peak in good timing and had loads of fun enroute. The stay was comfortable with hot water 24/7 and good home food. I look forward to more such treks with Nature Walkers. Thanks once again guys:)

This was my first trek, and I went to Meesapulimala Trek and Varkala Backpacking. The trek itself was very enjoyable, and Hemanth, the Outdoor Leader made sure of it. I look forward for many more treks with Nature Walkers.

Kudremukh trek 29sept to 1 October
One word for whole trip… Awesome
Outdoor leaders @[100000642307793:Tushara Devi] and @[654700259:Hemant Khandagale] were more than friends who behaved just like family…
They cared just like parents right from beginning of the trip to the end. Our food, night stay and lastly dance all things were taken proper care by them. I wish to have these two leaders on my next trip. All other people were new like strangers but at the end they were like we know them a far before. Really gonna miss this trip. Hope to see u soon all the guys.

    Kudremukh trek
    September 29th – October 1st
    Outdoor leaders – Hemant, Tushara
I may not have been to many treks but Kudremukh has been the toughest and most fun by far.
The timing of the trek was great as we were able to enjoy the monsoons without getting drenched and soggy.
Hemant did a great job organising the entire trip – from the bus rides to the homestay and the actual trek itself.
He motivated and made sure no one got left behind and everyone reached at least the 95% point even when they thought they couldn’t take another step.
The descent was equally thrilling and downright scary. You’re sure to slip many times and count yourself lucky if you didn’t fall (I did once). But therein lies the thrill. It even got a bit spooky after sunset and we had to use our torches to make sure we were going the right way.
But the highlight was definitely the bus rides to and fro. Hemant and Tushara made sure everyone shed their shyness and grooved to the blaring beats. The bus was rocking not just from the uneven path outside but also the crazy dance inside. On the whole, everyone warmed up to each other pretty soon and had a lot of fun the entire way.
Thanks a lot Nature Walkers for the amazing experience. Hip hip, Hurray!!!

Awesome trekking experience in Kudremukh with Nature Walkers. Specially loved the NTP policy. Usually I carry around all my plastic waste in my bag till i can find a dust bin. It was good to see the eco bag carried around to collect the waste. Big thanks to Hemant, Samba, Misha and Rajesh for organising a successful and super fun trek. 😀

The Earth has its music for those who will heedfully perceive. That’s called as “nature”. I culled the nature walkers for my first trek to kudremukh and decided to cull it again and again for my every trek. Heaven was under my feet and also over my head. I always heard what greenery designates and this time I witnessed it. Trekking is something where you experience a different part of your life and expecting luxury everywhere is not good. Nature walkers did their best for the folks in all the way they could. Thanks to Deepak, Amrita, Hemanth for their effort to arrange the trek which bought a huge curve on everybody’s face. Cheers to nature walkers.

In future when you read my biography, you’re definitely gonna find a chapter named ‘Kudremukh Diaries’..pretty sure of it. :p just kiddding. But It’s worth the exaggeration. Not because it was ‘kudremukh trek’, adventurous and all, but the main reason is the team. Special thanks to Hemant, Amrita and Deepak….for keeping us alive :p and arranging everything.

I was searching for a good treking team to join from a long time – as long as the past 8 years – i had enquired with nearly 30 groups- professional , semi professional groups – but everyone said the same thing–” we are a personalised group- we are close friends for years – U wont fit in here”-But the very first talk i had with Hemanth of naturewalkers convinced me that I could trek with this group for another 20 years- such was the nice rapo these three – Hemanth, Amrita and Manoj build – very essential when almost every trek has some new people joining in – and U r there to make friends – not just drill to the top of a hill.I went for two treks with this group and I have promised myself that i would go at least once a month next year and probably the frequency would increase in the years to come. The co-ordinators conduct the treks so professionally- everything from end to end – starting from the day 0 when u start on the bus with a lot of new friends to make , each one with loads of expectations and expertise in treking- to the actual trek day- lunch, coming back, dinner — the trek also gets to be so smooth and untiring as the co-ordinators previously would go personally, trek there to familiarise themselves with entire terrain – they know it as they know the lines on their own palms -I realised this in my Kodachadri trek when Amrita was telling each one of us “There is going to be a small climbing here — after next 10 steps U have to be careful , there is a small crevace — they know which rock to step on to reach waterfall safely enjoying each step–“- As I heard from their own first hand account — they havent treked all the places some hundred times — this kind of expertise – they have picked up in a few visits — needless to say they are dedicated and enjoy what they are doing– It is also not very easy to manage some 20 new people who have diverse kind of physique and physical needs when it comes to treks – some might be with great enthu to take part in treks -but might get tired after a certain distance – some might have breathing problems – so on and so forth — but the co-ordinators have meaningful ways of managing tough situations and keep the treks as joyful as possible for everyone in the group. Personally, i got a few very good friends from the two treks besides the great adventourous experience of climbing Kodachadri and crossing the boulders at hampi-needless to say the bunch of friends include the three co-ordinators .Three cheers to Naturewalkers– If anybody asks me now — where to find relaxing time and space during weekends — i would tell them – @naturewalkers………..
